Exchange Hosting Reviews

Investing in Microsoft Exchange Server can be an expensive and time consuming project that some SMB’s aren’t ready for. However the perks that come along with Exchange (push email via Exchange ActiveSync, for example) can be of great value to a small business. Because of this, Exchange hosting is becoming more popular both in the US and around the world. An exchange host is simply a company who has an Exchange server and allows other companies to “rent” a mailbox (or set of boxes) on their server for a monthly or yearly fee. Most Exchange hosts have a variety of different plans that offer different features (varying mailbox sizes, SharePoint access, mobile/remote/wireless services, etc).

Due to the growing number of companies getting involved with Exchange hosting, it’s important to do some research to determine which will meet your needs at a price that fits your budget. Nathan Klein has launched a new site that will make this decision a lot easier for you. Exchange Hosting Reviews will provide you with the pros and cons of numerous Exchange hosts. You can also read reviews from actual customers to learn about their personal experiences. This would be a great place to start if you are considering moving to Exchange.

I've been with Intermedia for a year with no problems. They also have good tech support that you can actually get on the phone. They are expensive and there are too many hidden costs, but these are business expenses. I'm considering doing the 30 day trial at SherWeb because of the cost savings.

I did quite a bit of research before choosing my Hosted Exchange provider. I went iceweb at first and ended up canceling to go with SherWeb. My 2nd choice ended up being the right one. Everything as been very smooth with SherWeb and I strongly recommend this company.

Yes, make sure to do your homework. Try the better providers like www.MailStreet.com, or www.asp-one.com. But, stay away from www.Intermedia.net - they are the worst of all the providers. They launched with Exchange 2007 before it was ever ready. Their control panel was really slow and painful. And when you cancel because of real issues that they agree with, they REFUSE to give refunds. They couldn't fix the problems quickly - all their real tech people are in Russia, so everything waits overnight. And a lot of their support is in Russia as well, which is painful to deal with. Stay away from Intermedia.net and go with someone else who doesn't cut corners.

I definitely agree Jason. With Hosted Exchange it is important to do the research on all of the available providers out there.

Exchange hosting is a great opportunity for companies that need increased email functionality but don't have the resources to run Microsoft Exchange Server in-house, but with such a mission critical app you really have to be selective about who you outsource to.
