Update Available for RoadSync S60

Includes optimizations for S60 3.1 devices like the N95

RoadSync: Exchange ActiveSync Push E-Mail for Nokia N95Today DataViz released an update to their Exchange ActiveSync push email client, RoadSync, for Symbian Series 60 devices like the N95, E61 and others. This update (v. 3.003) includes a variety of optimizations, several of which are focused on Nokia’s newest version of the Series 60 operating system (v. 3.1).

The update addresses an issue with switching access points on the Nokia N95 and also includes some helpful shortcuts like sending emails using the green ‘call’ button and sending pictures directly from the gallery (N-Series only for now).

This update is free for current RoadSync users. New licenses are available for $49.99. If you’d like to try it before you buy, there is also a 30 day free trial available.

Thanks for your comment and I am sorry that you are having some trouble with RoadSync. From the information you reported it sounds as though you are experiencing a problem which was occurring on S60 3.1 devices and RoadSync. Nokia did release a ROM update for 3.1 devices which corrected this issue. Not sure if this is what you already have installed. If you want to double check to make sure that you do have the latest ROM installed, you can visit the following page of Nokia’s website:

http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4226014

If you do have the latest ROM installed on your N95, you will also want to make sure that you have RoadSync version 3.003 installed. If you have confirmed this and you are still encountering difficulty viewing email messages in your subfolders, please consider the following:

-Email subfolders do use the same date range you have applied to your general inbox. Therefore if you are only syncing one week’s worth of email, only one week’s worth of email will appear in the subfolder.

After considering this, if you are still encountering the same problem, I would recommend contacting the Technical Support Department at DataViz for further assistance. All support options can be accessed on the following page of the DataViz website:

http://support.dataviz.com

When contacting the support department, if you can provide them with your verbose log, it will help them to better understand the problem. You can find the steps to enable and retrieve your verbose log on the following page of the Technical Support website:

I hope this information helps!!!
