Samsung's New Omnia

Now with Symbian S60 and RoadSync!

Omnia_RS.jpgSamsung has been showing off their latest touchscreen model, the new Omnia HD/GT-i8910, at MWC this week (not to be confused with the Samsung Omnia SCH-i910). The new Omnia is quite different than the old, most notably due to the fact that its running Symbian's Series 60 operating system.

Highlights of this device include a 640x360 touchscreen, 8 megapixel camera (which can also apparently capture 720p video), WiFi and 8gb or 16gb internal memory depending on model.

On top of all that, you'll get exchange push email, calendar, and contacts support right out of the box thanks to RoadSync by DataViz! Expected release is Q2 2009.

There's plenty more news that's been coming out of MWC this week, stay tuned for more updates, including an update on our Android and iPhone plans!
