Stern to Get His Hands on a Pre
No word on what porn starts might be involved.
Dieter Bohn is reporting (via some Twitter posts) that Howard Stern expects to get some alone time with a Palm Pre. Ok, maybe 'alone time' is a bit of a stretch. Here's what the twitterer reported:
"listened to Howard Stern announce this morning he is getting preview of Pre next week. Prototype will be used. No demos avail."
So I guess all you have to do to get a good look at a Pre is have an arguably off-color radio show that millions of people listen to!
Over at PreCentral they're discussing this in the framework of Palm's attempts to hype the Pre without announcing vital data like the release date. I think we've gotten so used to leaked info from various sources that when a company actually manages to keep something secret, people get angry. Or, maybe they just don't have a release date set yet?
We'll try to keep our ears open to hear what Howard's thoughts are.
